History: Godric was born and raised in the wild moors. He is the eldest among five brothers and two sisters. His family ruled a small community but led fairly simple lives. As a youth, Godric was exposed to both Wizard and Muggles, where all did their respective roles and lived well together. It was discovered early that Godric had a talent for charms, which only improved over time until he became the finest duellist among their people. In his thirteenth spring, Godric grew a passion for travelling and rode on the back of his then trusted horse for months on end. He loved the romance of riding off for adventures and fighting for the happiness of many. Ryder was left to watch over the family and the people of their land, and was also the one with whom Godric is in constant correspondence. Godric eventually gained friends among warriors and kings, for whom he would offer his aid if he believes their cause.

Education: Godric learned to read and write from the village instructor (Muggle), and grew a love for epic poetry. He became a passionate orator at the age of ten through the informal tutelage of the Elders. He learned to wield a sword by the age of two and was presented Athelmund (known merely in later millennia as “The Sword of Gryffindor”) at the age of twelve. His mother taught him to channel magic in his early years after Godric shot a goat to the sky by waving dried grass in the animal’s direction. The goat was fine and died of old age.
Finance: Quite wealthy, though it may not show. Much of his wealth were rewards and gifts from kings and rulers, which Godric then sends back to his family and village Healers. Godric holds no interest in gold and property other than as a means to barter in exchange of gifts he is fond of giving to most everyone he likes. These gifts may range from the useful (books and rare artefacts) to the useless (brightly-coloured feathers from different birds that have bit his fingers).
